Charles E. Flanagan

Charles E. ‘Chuck’ Flanagan Sr., 88, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.

He was born April 17, 1933, in Lima to the late Eugene and Mary Elsie (Keller) Flanagan. On November 20, 1954, he married Mary A. (Etgen) Flanagan who survives in Delphos.

Chuck is survived by his sons, Charlie (Emily) Flanagan of Maria Stein and John Flanagan of Spencerville; daughters, Janet (John) Mueller of Milroy, IN, Connie Donathan of Delphos and Marcy (Larry) Pool of Monrovia, IN; a sister, Joan Williams of Lafayette; and 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

Chuck worked at GM Powertrain in Defiance, and then went on to work as a mechanic at C.D. Olds, where he retired from. He served his country as a mechanic in the United States Army and Airforce.

A celebration of life for Chuck will be held for friends and family at the Delphos Eagles on Sunday March 6, 2022 from 1:00- 4:00 P.M. Food and snacks will be provided. The Delphos Veteran's Council will conduct a military service for Chuck at 1:30 P.M.   Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net. Arrangements were entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, Delphos.
