DELPHOS

Carol Short, 68, of Delphos passed away Monday, September 15 at her residence. She was born in Lima to George & Margie (Dickman) Fisher, who preceded her in death.

She was married to Tim Short, who also passed away on Monday, September 15.

Carol is survived by her sons, Shane Neuman of Panama City, FL, and John Short of Delphos; stepsons, Tim Short of Delphos, and Eric (Alexis) Short of Delphos; grandchildren, Dylan Short, Aiden Short and Addilynn Short; two sisters, Judy Gedeon of Delphos, and Bev (Jim) Wittkamp of Lima; and a brother Mike (Kim) Fisher of Delphos. Carol is also survived by a niece, Melissa Linton; and nephews, Joe Gedeon, Devin Fisher, Jared Fisher, and Peyton Wittkamp

She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Neuman; stepmother, Donelda Fisher; brother, Jerry Fisher; sister-in-law, Deb Fisher; and brother-in-law, Mark Gedeon.

Carol was a dedicated employee of Vancrest of Delphos and attended the Methodist Church of Delphos.

Visitation for Carol will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home, burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ft. Jennings.

Her pride and joy were her kids and grandchildren, she would do anything for anyone.

Her hardships were many, but she still found a way to love, smile, and find joy.

Carol will be truly missed. May you Rest in Peace.
