Carol Cross

Carol Cross, 69, of Delphos, passed away Wednesday evening, August 3, 2022, at The Meadows of Delphos.

She was born September 15, 1952, to William and Phyllis (Baird) Cross who both preceded her in death.

Carol is survived by her brothers, Steven Cross and Jeff (Candy) Cross both of Delphos; a sister, Nancy (Michael Sr.) Elling of Delphos; a sister-in-law, Marlene Cross of Delphos; nieces and nephews, David Cross Jr., Stephanie Stemen, William Cross, Nicole Cross, Bryan Cross, Janelle Fields, Michael Elling Jr., Lisa Drerup, Andrew Cross and Alix Cross; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, David G. Cross Sr.

Carol was a 1971 graduate of Delphos St. John’s. She had worked at I&K for many years and then retired as a dietary aid at Vancrest of Delphos. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Carol liked to fish and enjoyed her time at the lake. She dearly loved her family and was a second mom to her nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Carol always said she was the sweetest, kindest person they ever met.

A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the service Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Van Wert County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
