Brenda Hemker

Brenda Hemker, 69, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday evening, January 19, 2021, at The Meadows of Delphos. She was born April 6, 1951, to John and Betty (Hile) Eutsler who preceded her in death. In 1969 she married Thomas R. Kramer who preceded her in death on December 3, 1996. Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Spencerville High School, home of the Bearcats. She worked for H&R Block and eventually had her own tax consulting business. Brenda loved life, whether she was spending time at the lake cottage with family and friends, or simply playing a game of cards or a word search puzzle. She is survived by her children, Keith (Stacey) Kramer of Delphos, and Mike Kramer of Powell; grandchildren, Brittany (Matt) Burgei, Samantha Kramer (fiancé Samuel), and Allison Kramer, all of Delphos, Natalie Kramer, and Ian Kramer, both of Powell; and one great-granddaughter, Isabelle Kramer. She is also survived by her sister, Rita (Steve) Barns of Spencerville; and a brother-in-law, Tom Kroeger of Delphos. She had been married to Dale Hemker who survives in Delphos. Brenda was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob (Suzanne) Eutsler, and John Eutsler; and a sister, Janet Kroeger. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Father Tony Vera will be officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
