Beatrice M. ‘Bea’ Jettinghoff, age 94, of Delphos passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s.

She was born on August 4, 1932 in their small farm home inHamler, Ohio to Raymond Brubaker and Elnora (Mack) Brubaker and the preceded her in death. On November 28, 1953 she married Neil Jettinghoff and he survives in Delphos. They were married for over 70 years.

Bea is also survived by her two sons, Michael (Beth) Jettinghoff of Ft. Wayne and Matthew (Lisa) Jettinghoff of Delphos, her daughter -in- law Tammy Jettinghoff of Delphos. She is also survived by her grandchildren; John (Allison) Jettinghoff, Jessica Bertling, Casey Jettinghoff, Madison (Jacob) Hellman, Caitlin Jettinghopff, and William Jettinghoff, Melissa (Rod) Salway, Stacy Hudson, great grandchildren, Elias, Everett, Juliet, Callia Bertling, Delta Jettinghoff, Ayden, Amelia, and Abe Salway.

Bea was preceded in death by her children; Steven, John, and Julie. Her siblings, Teresa Smith, Mary Hoke, Richard, Harold, George, and Leo Brubaker.

She was a 1950 graduate of Hamler High School, as a senior she and four other students wrote the Alma Mater for the high school. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, singing at weddings and midnight mass, and school events. She retired from St. John’s High School after 23 years as the school librarian. She was a member of the “Out of towners card club”. She loved baking and sewing, she sewed all four of her granddaughter Baptismal gowns. She will always be remembered for her pies and cookies. She loved to host Christmas dinners, many years having of course her family and others who she knew would be alone at Christmas. She always remembered her mother saying, “no one should be alone at Christmas”.

Most importantly to her family she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation for Bea will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Bea may be made to the St. John Parish Foundation.
