Arthur Jerome Mueller

Arthur Jerome Mueller, 78, of Colorado, formerly of Delphos, passed away November 15, 2017, in his sleep. Art was born in Delphos on February 25, 1939 to Gertrude and Richard Mueller, who both preceded him in death. He was married to Rita Linskey for 25 years. She survives. He is also survived by his children, Peter M. (Alba) Mueller, Tim M. Mueller, Moira C. Mueller, and Kevin C. Mueller; four siblings, Sister Mary Gertrude Ann, S.N.D., Joan C. (Dennis) Miller, Nicholas R. (Mary) Mueller, and MaryAnn C. (Diana) Mueller; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Mueller. He was also preceded in death by a three brothers, Thomas C. Mueller, Brother Carl Mueller, and Robert J. Mueller. Art grew up on Pierce Street in Delphos, near St John's Church. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and attended Delphos St. John's School. Art received a B.A. in Sociology from St. Joe's College in Indiana and an M.B.A. from the Baruch School of Business in the City University of New York. Art enjoyed a very successful career as an executive in the life insurance industry in New York City and Cleveland Ohio, and a retirement in the Rocky Mountains, which he loved. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Arthur's life beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. A gathering will be held afterwards at the Delphos Eagles. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
