Anna Rose Kleman, 94, of Delphos, passed away Monday morning, March 24, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s with her loving children by her side.
She was born February 10, 1931 in Ft. Jennings to George and Emma (Utrup) Kelbley who both preceded her in death. On December 26, 1964 she married Arthur Kleman who preceded her in death February 24, 2025.
Anna Rose is survived by her children, Carol (Joe) Suever of Columbus, IN, Edward Kleman of Delphos, Barb (Terry Kill) Kline of Delphos and Daniel (Amy) Kleman of Van Wert; grandchildren, Luke Suever, Jeremy (Shannon) Kline, Christa (Justin) Marchand, Brooke (Collin) Buettner, Tyler (Fallon) Kline, Austin Kline, Paige Kline, Han Kleman and Brady Kleman; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Cameron Kline, Harper, Josslin, Vayda and Olivia Marchand, Josie and Emma Buettner, and Micah Kline.
Anna Rose worked for United Telephone Company and in St. John’s cafeteria. She volunteered at blood drives, thrift shop, mom’s room, election board, church fair and concession stand. Anna Rose was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America, and Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 40. She was an avid euchre player and loved going to polka dances and square dancing. In the mornings she could be found meeting with friends at McDonalds. On Wednesday she met for lunch with Fred and Mary Ann Lisk, and Tuesdays was card night with Ruth Gasser. She loved to vacation, ride bike and babysit grandkids. She was an avid painter with more paintings than wall space to hang. Anna Rose lived for almost 50 years in the home they both built for their family, she was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Parish Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net.
