Ann T. Baldauf

Ann T. Baldauf, age 95, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Vancrest of Delphos.

She was born October 19, 1930 in Van Wert County to the late Joseph and Agnes (Wrasman) Hemker. On July 7, 1951 she married Daniel B. Baldauf, who preceded her in death on July 16, 2011.

She is survived by a son, Dan (Mary Lou) Baldauf of Delphos; three daughters, Janet (Nelson) Wennerland of Nashville, Tennessee, Kay (Mark) Richard of Louisiana and Sharon Hohlbein of Delphos; seven grandchildren, Scott Baldauf, Kyle Baldauf, Craig Baldauf, Sarah Wennerland, Abbey Wennerland, Amanda (Tyler) Berger and Travis Hohlbein; eight great-grandchildren, Maris and Myla Baldauf, Cadence Baldauf, Lucy Baldauf, Gracelynn Baldauf, Hydin Berger, Harper Berger, and Owen Baldauf; three brothers, Herman (Vera) Hemker of Coldwater, Michigan, Leo Hemker of North Carolina and Ralph (Bonnie) Hemker of Florida; two sisters, Clara Alvarado of VanWert and Ruth Liebrecht of Delphos.

She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law Tim Hohlbein her brothers, Carl (Delores) Hemker, Paul (Rita) Hemker; sisters Mary (Gilbert) Pohl, Sister Joseleen Hemker, SND; sister-in-law, Lidia Hemker; brother-in-law Joe Alvarado; in-laws Paul (Coletta) Baldauf, Herman Baldauf, George (Gertrude) Baldauf, John Baldauf, and Alfred (Pat) Baldauf, Jim (Marge) Baldauf, Joe (Delores ) Hurley, Mary (Harry ) Borgwelt, Marciel (Ben) Borgelt, Ann (John) Henry, Hazel (Gale) Fiend, Joan (Albert) Suever, Lillian(Roger) Robison.

Ann was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a 1949 graduate of Delphos St. John’s. She was also a member of Delphos Eagles Aerie 471 Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America. Ann was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed camping and knitting. She had worked 20 years at Huffy.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos and also from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday morning. A Parish Wake Service begin at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s School or to the Sisters of Notre Dame.
