Alberta (Bert) Ann Fiedler, age 83, of Van Wert passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.

She was born February 18, 1943 in Middle Point to Roy Hittle and Cleo (Evans) Hittle and they preceded her in death. On August 21, 1972 she married Bernard E. Fiedler, he survives in Van Wert.

Alberta is survived by daughter; Kylee (Quinten) Martin from Van Wert, 2 grandchildren; Kendall and Sophie Martin and sister; Carol Learned of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her brother Leroy Wayne Hittle.

Bert had worked as a telephone operator in Middle Point, she also worked as a nurses aid at the Convoy Care Center and then at the Fritz House in Paulding. Bert enjoyed fishing and camping with Bernie, crocheting, she loved her dogs her whole life, most recently, Molly Jo. Most of all she was a devoted wife, mother, Nana and homemaker for her family.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 14, 2026 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals, Hospice in memory of Bert.
