Pamela Lauf Obituary

Pamela Jean Lauf, 63, of Middle Point, passed away Wednesday evening, August 7, 2013 at the Sarah Jane Living Center, Delphos. Her Family...She was born on October 6, 1949, in Lima to Cletus and Josephine (Sager) Bockey. Her mother survives in Delphos. On May 5, 1973 she married Eugene A. Lauf, who survives. She is also survived by a son, Jason (Amy) Lauf of Middle Point; two grandchildren Olivia and Carson Lauf; three brothers, Ralph (Jolene) Bockey of Van Wert; George (Karen) Bockey and Edward "Chip" (Justina) Bockey both of Delphos; two sisters, Dorothy Schroeder of Glandorf; Elaine (Tom) Evans of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Cletus, and a son Todd Lauf. Her Legacy...She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She enjoyed making stained glass stepping stones. She was a retired traffic manager at Fruehauf Corp. Pamela was a very good mother, loving wife and grandmother. Her Farewell Services...Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Reinhart. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 Sunday, August 10 at Strayer Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middle Point Fire Department and EMS and The American Cancer Society.
