Gloria A. Wrasman, 80, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday evening, January 12, 2021, at her home on their farm south of Delphos. She was born January 2, 1941, in Lima to the late Otto and Marie (Trentman) Wieging. On August 18, 1962, she married Leo J. Wrasman. Gloria is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo J. Wrasman of Delphos; a son, Gerald ‘Jerry' Wrasman of Delphos; five daughters, Carolyn (Jay) Winhover of Delphos, Janet (Roger) Homier of New Bavaria, Susan (Mike) May of Elida, Nancy (Randall) Bonifas of Venedocia, and Lisa (Matt) Langhals of Columbus Grove; two brothers, Kenneth (Edith) Wieging, and Dennis (Diane) Wieging, both of Delphos; a sister, Norma Jean (Bill) Maag of Ft. Jennings; a brother-in-law, Louis (Joyce) Wrasman of Kenton; three sisters-in-law, Sister Carleen Wrasman PHJC, and Sister Coletta Wrasman PHJC, both of Donaldson, IN, and Doris (Tom) Nichols of Vancouver, WA; and thirteen grandchildren, Nicole (Justin) Flory, Elizabeth Winhover, Grace Homier, Alvin Homier, Adrienne May (Dalton Boroff), Andrew May, Anna May, Abigail Bonifas, Dominic Bonifas, Natalie Langhals, Keelie Langhals, Griffin Langhals, and Colin Langhals. She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Patrick Stechschulte; and a brother-in-law, Jerome Wrasman. Gloria had worked part-time over the years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and E.S. Evans, both in Lima; at the Jack & Jill Shop in Delphos; bookkeeping for the family farm; and most of all she was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother, making each grandchild feel special. She volunteered at the local Red Cross Blood Drive, and at the St. John's Festival helping with the children's day in the gym. She bowled in the Thursday Coffee League. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a staunch supporter of the St. John's Blue Jays. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Father Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Parish Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.weberfh.net.
