Franklin E. Spieles

Franklin E. "Frank" Spieles, 89, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Primrose Retirement Community, Lima. His Family.... He was born April 7, 1928 in Delphos to the late Frank J. and Clara A. (Heising) Spieles. On November 29, 1947 he married Dolores ‘Dodi' (Heffner) Spieles, who survives in Lima. He is also survived by two sons, Dr. Todd (Sylvia) Spieles of New Knoxville and Drew (Becky) Spieles of Delphos; two daughters, Lana Spieles Babcock of West Palm Beach, Florida and Denise Spieles Kennedy of Charlotte, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Richard and Kenneth Spieles. His Legacy.... Frank was a 1946 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School. He was the sales manager at Birkmeier Monuments for many years. He was also the corporate secretary at U.S. Fiber and was founder and CEO of Oriental Express Furniture Imports in Florida for 17 years. His Farewell Services.... A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Dennis Walsh officiating. The family will be available at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial of ashes will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Weber Funeral Home.
