Donald R. Ditto

Donald R. Ditto, 78, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert. His Family.... He was born May 23, 1939 in Delphos to Doris Robert and Norma Katherine (Miller) Ditto who both preceded him in death. On September 1, 1962 he married Valeta (Wiechart) Ditto who survives in Delphos. He is also survived by a son, Donald (Cheryl ‘Sis') Ditto of Delphos; two daughters, Cynthia (Stephen) Buzard Jr. of Delphos and Victoria Ditto of Dayton; a brother, Dennis (Cherie) Wells of Spencerville; three sisters, Shirley (Marvin) Lucas, Bonnie (Larry) Swaney and Rebecca (Jim) Rison, all of Delphos; six grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Altman, Katrina (Michael) Kill, Anthony (Allyson) Buzard, Michael Butler, Nickolas Ditto and Nathan Ditto; and five great-grandchildren, Alisa Bendele, Elijah Zamudio, Caleb Zamudio, Evelyn Kill and Kamden Buzard. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Ditto and two sisters, Barbara Dickson and Brenda Brooks. His Legacy.... Don retired from Krendl Machine as a welder. He was one of the original founders of the Delphos Bass Club. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos. Don dearly loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour before the time of the service at the church on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
