Dolores ‘Dodi' N. Spieles, 91, of Delphos, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 14, 2017 at Primrose Retirement Community, Lima. Her Family.... She was born June 25, 1926 in Waynesfield to the late Ermine and Florence (Hill) Heffner. On November 29, 1947, she married Franklin E. Spieles who preceded her in death on July 29, 2017. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Todd (Sylvia) Spieles of New Knoxville and Drew (Becky) Spieles of Delphos; two daughters, Lana Spieles Babcock of West Palm Beach, Florida and Denise Spieles Kennedy of Charlotte, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patty who died in infancy, and Barbara Jacobs; and one brother, Byron Heffner. Her Legacy.... Dodi was a 1944 graduate of Waynesfield-Goshen High School. She also graduated from Lima Beauty Academy. Dodi owned and operated The Cameo Boutique, The Wheel Inn and The Carriage Inn in Delphos. She and Frank together owned and operated Oriental Express Furniture Imports in Florida for 17 years. Her Farewell Services.... A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Rev. Dennis Walsh officiating. The family will be available at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial of ashes will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Weber Funeral Home.
