Charlotte A. Hotz, 91, of Beverly Hills, Florida, formerly of Delphos, passed away Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 9:51 p.m. at her home.
Charlotte was born March 30, 1929 in Van Wert, Ohio to Gerald and Virginia (Stahl) Shaffer, who both preceded her in death. On April 11, 1953, she married Robert “Bob” Hotz, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Kelly (Kathy) Hotz of Inverness, Florida; three grandchildren, Kristian (Anthony) Porco of Orlando, Florida, Patrick “PK” (Tara) Hotz of Floral City, Florida and LeighAnn Hotz of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and six great-grandchildren, Nicoletta, Milana and Franco Porco of Orlando, Florida and Cheyenne, Killian, and Johnathon of Floral City, Florida.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Holli Ann Hotz.
Charlotte was an obstetrics nurse and married to Bob for 65 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos, Ohio. Charlotte loved her family and was adored by all her great-grandchildren, whom she always looked forward to seeing.
It was Charlotte’s request to be buried in the springtime. A memorial service for northern family and friends will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos, Ohio, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, April 11 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Catholic School (Delphos, Ohio) in her name.
