He was also preceded in death by a sister, Polly Scherger; an infant brother, Guy Weber; and sister-in-law, Susan Weber.

Chad was a 1975 graduate of Delphos St. John’s High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1976-1980. He retired in 2019 from St. John’s Church after working there 21 years in maintenance. Chad was a member of Delphos St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. John’s Athletic Boosters, and Eagles Aerie 471.

Chad was an avid sports lover; his favorite teams being St. John’s Blue Jays, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and “San Diego” Chargers. He spent numerous years coaching the youth of Delphos, including 19 years for the Blues Pony League baseball team. In his free time, Chad also enjoyed golfing at the Delphos Country Club. But most of all, Chad enjoyed watching his grandkids play.

As Chad would have wanted, please feel free to dress casually for his celebrations, maybe even your favorite Hawaiian shirt.
