Arnold Krietemeyer Obituary

Arnold M. Krietemeyer, 80, of Ft. Jennings, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 9, 2015 at Vancrest Healthcare Center. His Family.... He was born April 27, 1934 in Ft. Jennings to the late Theodore and Anna (Schimmoeller) Krietemeyer. He is survived by a brother, Eugene (Agnes) Krietemeyer of Ft. Jennings; three sisters, Martha Bockey of Delphos, Eileen Martz of Delphos and Alma Good of Ft. Jennings; a sister-in-law, Viola Krietemeyer of Kalida; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Leo; a brother, Harold H. Krietemeyer; and a sister, Ruth Bruskotter; brothers-in-law, James Bockey, Melvin Martz and Robert Good. His Legacy.... Arnold was a lifetime dairy farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a former member of Ft. Jennings Recreation Club, Ft. Jennings Lions Club and the Ft. Jennings Sons of the American Legion Post 715. He was a big sports enthusiast, especially for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at Strayer Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, and again on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be a parish rosary service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Cemetery or St. Joseph's Parish.
