Matthew J. Buettner

Matthew J. Buettner, 44, of Delphos, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. His Family.... He was born June 21, 1972 in Lima to Melvin J. and Bonnie (Nesbitt) Buettner. On November 9, 1996 he married Kerri Spieles. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kerri Buettner of Delphos; his mother, Bonnie Buettner of Delphos; four daughters, Alaina, Madison, Olivia and Emma Buettner, all at home; two brothers, Mark (Connie) Buettner of Elida and Brian (Stephanie) Buettner of Delphos; a sister, Chris Miller of Ft. Jennings; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Lana Spieles of Delphos; maternal grandmother, Rita Nesbitt of Delphos; in-laws, Mark and Molly Spieles of Van Wert and Ryan Spieles of Lima; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin J. Buettner. His Legacy.... Matthew was a tire salesman at Tommy Tire. He loved vacationing with his family and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed running and loved his dogs, Prince, Faith and Dakota. His Farewell Services.... Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos, where a Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his daughters' future education.
